Technical overview

Automatic Disc Filtration

Spin Klin disc filters use a stack of grooved polymer discs compressed inside a housing. Incoming water passes through the disc stack radially, and grooves at each layer interface trap particles at the rated micron depth. During automated backwash, the disc stack releases so each disc separates from its neighbours, flushing retained solids to drain in a short, regulated-volume cycle before the stack re-compresses for normal filtration. All wetted parts are polymeric — no metal to corrode in fertiliser-bearing or chemically aggressive water.

Best for

Agricultural drip and sprinkler irrigation networks requiring emitter protectionIndustrial cooling water, process water, and intake water pre-treatmentWastewater and reclaim/reuse filtration where organic solids loads are highInstallations requiring modular capacity expansion without piping redesign

Key product advantages

  • Micron-precise depth filtration with high dirt-holding capacity for organic matter
  • Short, regulated-volume backwash cycle minimises flush water use
  • All-polymeric construction is corrosion and chemical resistant
  • Modular battery design scales to system size
  • Low maintenance and energy consumption compared to equivalently rated media filters
